Paediatric First Aid Course

This 3 hour course is delivered in collaboration with Kidsafe Victoria and is suitable for parents, carers, grandparents, and anyone involved in the care of young children.

 

About the Course

Our Paediatric First Aid course is delivered in collaboration with Kidsafe Victoria. This 3 hour course is suitable for parents, carers, grandparents, and anyone involved in the care of young children. Our educators will guide participants through an interactive and engaging paediatric first aid training session that includes learning about childhood injury prevention, infant and child CPR, as well as how to manage some of the most common child first aid emergencies, including:

  • Childhood Injury Prevention

  • Infant and Child CPR

  • Burns

  • Choking

  • Drowning

  • Allergies

  • Fractures

  • Head Injuries

  • Bleeding

  • Fevers

  • Poisoning

  • Bites & Stings

  • Asthma & Croup

  • And more.

Babies and breastfeeding are welcome at all of our sessions. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and practice new skills too!
