Strong Start Program

Emergcare delivers first aid education and training in collaboration with Kidsafe Victoria and the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE). Our courses are delivered by experienced paediatric nurses and paramedics to empower parents and caregivers with essential childhood injury prevention strategies, CPR and first aid skills for babies and children, and perinatal mental health education and resources.

To help support the families of children receiving care at the Royal Children’s Hospital, and families with babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or special care nurseries (SCNs) at other hospitals in Victoria, our dedicated team provide first aid training at no cost for parents who are referred to us via the referral form below.

If you are a clinical staff member from the Royal Children’s Hospital or other hospital within Victoria and would like to refer a parent to attend one of our courses, please complete the form below. We will respond to your request as soon as possible and advise the parent/s of our soonest available course dates (both online and face-to-face options available).
